Senior Provider Recruitment Manager
This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and contracting facilities, hospitals, physicians and other medical provider groups. He or she will negotiate contracts ensuring a cost effective contract in compliance with all state, provider, and corporate requirements. Negotiations will primarily be with physicians and hospitals providing group health, workers’ compensation, and auto liability services. The successful candidate will have the skills to obtain favorable fee arrangements for Prime Health from all providers recruited in a defined geographic territory. They will also analyze data and use data to develop strategies for contracting and re-contracting. This position requires successful recruitment of medical providers to join the PPO network. The candidate is preferred to have proven success in the recruitment of medical providers to PPO and/or HMO networks.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, flexibility, adaptability, problem solving capability, creativity, initiative, teamwork skills, prioritization skills, public relations and customer service skills are required. Strong technical skills required, including MS Office.
At least 1 year provider contract negotiation experience in a managed care environment, preferably with a PPO or HMO is expected. Must include experience contracting hospitals. Bachelor’s degree required or extensive experience as a provider contractor. Compensation package for this position includes a full package of benefits.
