Hurricanes
and the Gulf Coast States
With the
recent catastrophic damages suffered in
Louisiana,
Mississippi and
Alabama it has
made us all too aware of how quickly our lives and
businesses can change because of natural disasters. Prime Health
Services sympathizes with the losses felt in these
markets.
Recently,
Prime Health Services has done much to improve our
network offerings in these markets and are proud to say
that as the re-building begins we can assist our clients
better than ever.
How?
By offering the best access possible in these
states, to both directly contracted and regionally
accessible “best of class” network relationships such
as…
Ø
Louisiana:
Prime Health
Services offers a comprehensive network offering in
conjunction with two network relationships for the State
of Louisiana.
·
Best Comp,
Inc. offers
access to some 25 hospitals and some 4,000 providers in
Louisiana. Headquartered in
Baton
Rouge,
LA many of
these providers and facilities are located directly in
and around the New
Orleans market.
Best Comp offers savings of 30-40% off the Louisiana
State Work Comp Fee Schedule.
·
Universal
Health Plans offers
statewide access to providers throughout
Louisiana, including
in the northern counties. UHN offers
savings for these providers of 35% on average below the
Louisiana State Work Comp Fee
Schedule.
Ø
Mississippi: Prime
Health Services offers a comprehensive network offering
in conjunction with First Choice Health
Plans of Mississippi. In addition to
our directly contracted relationships, First Choice
allows Prime Health Services to meet the needs of our
clients by offering network savings averaging 5-10%
below the Mississippi State Workers’ Compensation Fee
Schedule.
Ø
Alabama: Prime
Health Services offers a statewide comprehensive network
offering access to providers across
Alabama, including
the University of
Alabama
Health System,
University of
South
Alabama Health
System,
Jackson
Hospital –
Montgomery, Southern
Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Network, and HealthSouth
locations statewide. All providers
offer a significant savings below the Alabama State
Workers’ Compensation Fee
Schedule.
As
many of our neighbors struggle to rebuild, keep in mind
that many of these include the practices offered by
Prime Health Services and our partner
relationships.
Consequently, as we struggle to see what
facilities and what practices have been able to be
re-established we will make our best efforts to continue
to keep our data current for referral and processing
purposes.
As the rebuilding begins, the inevitable work
related injuries will happen as well. Rest assured
that Prime Health Services is the network ready to offer
solutions to our client |
