ALLIANCE WITH
MEDRISK’S EXPERT PHYSICAL MEDICINE
PROVIDER NETWORK

– Prime Health Services (Prime Health), a National
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), has announced a
strategic alliance with MedRisk, Inc. The agreement
enables Prime Health’s customers to access MedRisk’s
Expert Provider Organization (EPO) of workers’
compensation physical medicine specialists.

providing our clients with the best services and savings

“Since physical medicine represents 20 to 30
percent of the workers’ compensation medical dollar,
MedRisk’s specialty service for managing this segment

The arrangement allows Prime Health’s
customers access to more than 15,000 physical and
occupational therapists as well as more than 12,000
chiropractors in MedRisk’s EPO.

Prime Health remains busy
in our relentless network development across the
country. In a recent analysis completed by a major
national managed care company in our workers’
compensation industry we’ve gained some astonishing
results.
In an analysis of over
5,400 bills with an excess of $1.1 million dollars in
medical bill charges Prime Health achieved a 85%
provider penetration and over 14% in medical bill charge
savings related to those providers in the Prime Health
PA Network.
And this isn’t even the
end of the story in PA……Prime Health has recently
secured the rights to workers’ compensation contract
assets that a major group health organization had
available. These assets will be put in place over the
next several weeks in PA and several others states
nationwide!

I am pleased to inform you that
Prime Health Services has rolled
out our new corporate website at www.primehealthservices.com.
Please take a few moments and explore
the new site. The look and feel of the new PHS website is
very different from the old, and is much more user
friendly.
Our research tells us that the most
important section of our corporate site is
the "Provider Search" function. Thus, I
want to share with you some changes to this
area. First, anyone searching for providers
will need to register with us for the first
time. Only current clients will be granted
access to perform a search. Also, we have
included a vastly improved provider directory on demand
function, which will result in a smoother
experience while visiting our corporate presence on the
Internet.
We have also made it much easier for
medical providers to join our PPO network online.
This area will continue to be enhanced with valuable
tools for our medical providers.
