Prime Health Industry Leader — Not Follower

What a year it has been in 2007 in the workers’ compensation arena! The consolidation of companies has been staggering at times and difficult for us to all stay current regarding the ever changing landscape. I have watched with great interest as traditionally strong PPOs have been absorbed, closed, or morphed into something quite different than in years past. Yet, the most significant changes lately involve the perceived “800 pound Gorillas” marriage to each other.

In light of those changes, I want to assure our prospects, clients, and friends that Prime Health Services will not be following in the wave of changes seen this year. We are an industry leader, not follower. The Prime Health PPO network continues to grow rapidly in all of our product lines, including workers’ compensation. Our network is on track to add close to 50,000 individual providers treating workers’ compensation patients and at below fee schedule discount rates.

Thus, when you hear the market reacting to all the mergers and changes in the PPO market, you can know that Prime Health Services is the best choice for PPO access. Our slogan, “We are your national PPO solution” did not come about by accident. We are a steady growing company that cares more about our customers than anyone else. If you are feeling bullied by the “800 pound Gorillas” then you need to come see what Prime Health Services is all about. Our national PPO network of 600,000 workers’ compensation providers will do more than just meet your needs, it will exceed your needs.

If you are an insurance carrier, TPA, self-insured employer, or medical bill review company; please come and check us out. You don’t have to be locked into the guys that want to trap you into using their networks.

Prime Health Launches eContracting

Prime Health Services Inc. introduces the next generation of advanced technology applied to the PPO industry. EContracting, the online medical provider contracting application, eliminates paper from the business process and establishes a more efficient means of contracting medical providers.

Prime Health Services is now able to contract with a physician, hospital, or ancillary provider electronically from the www.primehealthservices.com website. One of the many innovations of this process is the ability for medical providers to use e-signatures to execute the contract, thus saving time, money, and a large amount of paper that is normally involved in the traditionally manual process. A provider simply needs a mouse and uses a drawing motion to actually sign their name with an online signature.

Brian Sharp, CEO/President of Prime Health Services said, “Our new online eContracting service will make the process of contracting between our national PPO network and a medical provider much easier. Most importantly, it allows the provider to complete an executed contract with Prime Health instantly and digitally which eliminating much of the paper cost, postage, and overnight delivery costs we all experience.“

EContracting not only reduces paper costs, it also will save Prime Health Services the time and expense of archiving contracts into a digital format. The cost savings of this program is expected to be substantial.
